マチカネワニ ８m！

大阪に人(hito)がいなかった 40万年前には

こんなに大きなワニがあるいていました。

豊中市(Toyonakashi)で大学の校舎(kousha)をたてるときに、小さなほねのかけらがみつかりました。そこで４回も地面(jimen)を掘(ho)ってしらべてみたら なんと8mもある大きなワニがでてきました。ちかくにある 待兼山(Machikane-yama)にちなんでマチカネワニという名前(namae)になりました。　→sound

400,000 years ago, when there were no people in Osaka.
There was a crocodile this big walking around.
When building a university building in Toyonaka City, a small piece of bone was found.
So they dug up the ground four times to see what we could find. They found a huge crocodile that was 8 meters long.
It was named Machikane-wani after the nearby Mt.Machikane.
